Need Someone Now?
If you or someone else may be in immediate danger or cannot stay safe, call 999 or go to A&E. Do not wait for HRE4U or another service to reply.
If you need urgent mental health support but there is no immediate danger, call NHS 111 and select the mental health option.

Choose what feels closest to what is happening. You do not need to know the name of a service or get the wording exactly right.
Would You Rather Talk Face to Face?
You can come to the HRE4U Community Crisis Café for a chat, some company, practical help or support finding the right next step. We are a friendly, non-clinical crisis café, not an emergency service.
Next session 9th November at St Faith’s (Crosby), 10–2. No appointment or referral needed.

You can take things at your own pace. You do not need to have the right words or know exactly what to say. You can simply start by telling them what is happening or that you need someone to talk to.
- Some services offer phone, text, online chat or other ways to get in touch.
- Opening times, costs and who a service supports can vary, so check the service's website or ask them before getting in touch.
- Confidentiality policies also vary. A service should be able to explain what is confidential and when they may need to share information for safety reasons.
Need Practical Support?
Sometimes the thing pushing you towards crisis is practical. Money worries, food, energy, housing, work, family problems or other pressures can quickly become overwhelming.
HRE4U works with local and specialist organisations that may be able to help. You do not need to know which service you need before getting in touch. Tell us what is happening and we can help you work out where to start.
Some of the organisations currently working with HRE4U include Access Send, The Survivors Trust, Sefton @ Work, Age Concern Liverpool & Sefton, Light For Life Sefton and Active Sefton.
Support available through HRE4U and the organisations we work with can include money and benefits, food, energy, housing, employment, family matters, health, isolation and other practical problems affecting how you are feeling.
