Is this helpful and working?

Who Are We?

HRE4U CIC is a community interest company built to make mental health information accessible, clear, and free for everyone. What started as a small project during the early days of COVID has grown into a trusted space offering guidance, tools, and a calm corner of the internet for anyone finding life difficult.

Our Mission

In the beginning, we offered free one-to-one online support and crisis conversations. As the project grew and our structure changed, we had to step back from offering individual counselling. That was a hard decision, but it allowed us to focus on something bigger and more sustainable for the long term.

Our mission now is to provide clear information, honest explanations, practical tools, and support you can access at any time. When we are online, you can still chat to the team for signposting and guidance.

Everything we create is designed to help people understand their minds, their feelings, and their options in moments when clarity is hard to find.

Our Passion

We care deeply about making mental health feel less frightening and less lonely. Our focus is on providing grounded, reliable content that empowers you to understand yourself better. Whether you are struggling, curious, or supporting someone else, our aim is to offer a steady hand and a sense of community.

As a Community Interest Company, all of our work is shaped around public benefit, not profit. Every resource we build, every guide we publish, and every project we take on exists to support mental wellbeing in a real and practical way.

Working to Good Practice

HRE4U CIC is a member of the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO). This connects us with national good practice guidance, training, and support for community organisations.

It helps us make sure what we build is responsible, transparent, and focused on real public benefit rather than profit.

We are committed to learning, improving, and doing things properly as we grow.

Our Impact

Every month we share simple, anonymous visitor numbers that show how many people are using HRE4U for calm, clear support. It helps us stay open about the difference this project is making and the growing need in our community.

We share these figures openly as part of our commitment to transparency and good practice.

How You Can Help

HRE4U is a community effort. If you want to support the work we do, there are simple ways to get involved:

Provide Feedback

Your experiences help shape what we create next. Tell us what has helped, what could be clearer, and what you would like to see more of.

Volunteer Your Time

If you are interested in mental health, community work, or supporting others, you can register your interest in volunteering. Our projects are growing, and so is the need for passionate people.

Get Involved

Share Your Story

Personal experiences help others feel less alone. If you’d like to share a reflection, a lesson learned, or something that helped you through a difficult time, we’d love to hear from you.

Spread the Word

Sharing our pages and resources helps more people find support. Every share makes a bigger impact than you think.

Help Out with the Café

We are developing a community mental health café, a calm space where people can talk, rest, and feel supported. If you’d like to be part of it, you can check the latest updates here.
