Our Impact
HRE4U became a Community Interest Company in November 2025, but the project has been offering free, human mental health support online for almost five years. It began as a quiet one person effort built in late nights and spare moments, and it has grown into a calm space where people can find reassurance, grounding and simple explanations that make sense when life feels heavy.
We believe in being open about the difference our work makes. We keep things simple. We do not collect personal details or track anyone as an individual. We only record anonymous visitor numbers so we can understand how often our support is being used and which parts of the site people rely on most.
This helps us stay responsive, transparent and community focused as we grow.
Why We Track Impact
We want to know how people are using HRE4U so we can keep improving it. The numbers below tell us:
- how many people are reaching out for support
- which topics are most needed
- what times of day people turn to us
- how demand changes through the year
These figures help us understand real need in the community and guide us as we build towards our long term plan.

Our Impact So Far in May
- 3,278 visits so far this month
- 3,278 pages viewed so far
- 166 people used our support pages
These numbers reflect real people arriving in moments of stress, confusion or overwhelm and finding something steady to hold onto.
Last Month: March 2026
March showed a continued and growing demand for HRE4U. Across the month, people visited the site 29,475 times and viewed 76,188 pages of support, information and grounding tools. This marks a clear increase from February, reflecting a steady rise in both reach and engagement.
The month began with a sharp early surge in activity, with one of the busiest days reaching 1,872 visits. After this initial spike, demand settled into a consistent daily pattern, before gradually building again toward the end of the month. This pattern shows that while pressure can rise quickly, the need for support remains present and ongoing.
On average, there were 951 visits per day, meaning hundreds of people are accessing support every single day. This steady level of use highlights that HRE4U is not only used during peak moments, but as part of ongoing self-support, reflection, and coping.
The night-time pattern remained strong. A significant proportion of activity continued to take place in the early hours, particularly between 1am and 4am. These are often the quietest hours elsewhere, yet they remain some of the busiest times on HRE4U, when people are looking for calm, private support without pressure or judgement.
Looking more closely at how people used the site, visitors continued to engage with in-depth and often complex topics. Pages relating to areas such as psychological assessment, medication experiences, and physical health alongside mental wellbeing saw consistent use. This reflects that people are not only seeking quick answers, but taking time to understand what they are experiencing in a deeper and more meaningful way. :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}
Across March:
- 29,475 visits
- 76,188 pages viewed
- Over 14,000 unique devices accessed the site
- An average of 951 visits per day
- The busiest day reached 1,872 visits
- Late night support use remained strongest between 1am and 4am
- A sharp early spike followed by steady and sustained daily demand
- Increased engagement compared to February
March’s figures reinforce something important. Demand does not disappear after a spike. It settles, continues, and often builds again. The need for accessible, human-centred support remains present every day, in both the quieter moments and the more intense ones.
How We Count Visits
We only record anonymous page loads. Each time someone opens a page, it counts as one view. We do not track who someone is or build personal profiles. This data simply helps us understand how often our support is being used and when people are most likely to need it.
Our Next Step
Our crisis café is now open at you can see more about it here. It is a free, welcoming space where people can drop in without pressure, without judgement and without needing a referral. A place to sit safely, speak to someone trained, find grounding or simply rest with a warm drink.
The steady and consistent use of our online support shows that people are already reaching for help at difficult moments. The café allows us to offer that same calm, human support in person, especially for those who need somewhere safe to be.
Our focus remains the same. To make sure nobody has to struggle alone, whether they reach us online in the early hours or walk through the café door.
Staying Transparent
Impact is not about big claims. It is about showing what is real. Each month we will update this page with the latest activity so anyone can see how HRE4U is being used and how the work is growing.
All figures are anonymous, simple and honest.
