Whatever has brought you here, you do not need to have everything figured out before you reach out.

HRE4U is a Sefton-based community organisation offering free, welcoming spaces, practical support, community activities and connections to organisations that can help with the things life throws at us.

You can walk into one of our spaces, see what is happening in the community, find practical support, or get support online. No referral needed. Just start wherever feels right for you.

The HRE4U Community Crisis Café

Our Community Crisis Café is the heart of HRE4U.

It is a calm, free, walk-in space for adults who need somewhere welcoming to sit, talk, have a drink, meet people, or simply get away from everything for a little while.

You do not have to be in crisis. Some people come because they are overwhelmed or struggling. Others come for company, practical help, an activity, or just a cup of tea somewhere they feel comfortable.

No referral. No appointment. No pressure to talk. Just drop in.

Our next café session is at St Faith’s (Crosby) , on Monday 9th November, 10–2. Just drop in, no booking needed.

More Than a Café

People rarely arrive with just one thing going on, so we try to make support as simple as possible.

We can help people find support with things like mental health and wellbeing, housing, employment, food and energy, SEND, benefits and debt, family law, cancer support, loneliness, and other practical issues.

Sometimes that help comes directly from HRE4U. Sometimes it comes from one of the organisations and specialist providers we work alongside. Either way, we will always try to help you work out the next step.

We currently work alongside Maria Fogg Family Law, Sefton @ Work, Raise, Age Concern Liverpool & Sefton, Liverpool Sunflowers and Light For Life Sefton and other organisations and professionals offering specialist support.

Community Sessions & Events

HRE4U is also about connection, not just support when things are difficult.

We run regular wellbeing sessions, workshops, creative activities, community events, and drop-ins with local organisations and providers.

Some are relaxing, some are practical, and some are simply a chance to do something different and meet people. We keep them friendly, affordable, and easy to join.
