Gentle Creative Writing (All Levels)
at St Faiths Church Hall

Milton road, Waterloo, Sefton (next to tesco express)

Join us for a relaxed creative writing workshop with Liam Marshall, taking place within our weekly HRE4U community café.

This is a gentle, guided session designed to spark your imagination through a series of creative prompts. There’s no right or wrong way to respond. You might write a poem, a short story, or a simple list. All you have to do is follow where the words take you.

It’s a chance to step away from everyday life for a while, express yourself freely, and have a bit of fun along the way. Writing can be a brilliant way to process your thoughts, lift your mood, and discover a creative side you might not have explored before.

Our café will be open as usual from 10am to 2pm, with the session taking place between 11am and 12:30pm. During that time, the space will be a quieter, guided session.

What to expect:

  • A series of simple creative prompts
  • Freedom to write in your own way
  • A calm, relaxed space
  • No pressure, no expectations

A few things to know:

  • No experience is needed
  • Everything is optional and you can go at your own pace
  • You might be surprised by how creative you can be
  • Sharing is completely optional
  • You’re welcome to arrive a little early to settle in

As always, our café is a calm, welcoming space for anyone who needs it. You don’t need to be referred or be in crisis. Just come as you are.

If you’ve never been to something like this before, that’s completely okay. Most people haven’t.
