Is this helpful and working?

Run it, walk it or wheel it. Choose a distance and timeframe that feels like a real challenge for you, get sponsored and raise money to support HRE4U.

It could be your first mile, a 5K, 100 miles across a month, a marathon or something completely of your own. Your distance, your pace, your way.

How It Works

Choose Your Challenge

Decide how far you want to go and how long you want to give yourself. Pick something that feels genuinely challenging for you.

Set Your Timeframe

Do it in a day, across a week, throughout a month or as part of an organised event. There's no single right way to take part.

Raise Money

Ask friends, family and colleagues to sponsor your challenge. There's no minimum fundraising target and every pound helps support HRE4U.

Get Moving

Run, walk or wheel your challenge at your own pace. However you choose to move, reaching your goal is what counts.

What Could Your Challenge Be?

There isn't a minimum distance. A good challenge is one that means something to you, whether that's your first mile or your next marathon.

Run, Walk or Wheel

Move for HRE4U is for different bodies, abilities and starting points. You can run, walk, use a wheelchair or combine different ways of moving to complete your challenge.

What feels easy for one person may be a huge achievement for somebody else, so we don't set a minimum distance. The challenge is personal to you.

Already Taking Part in an Event?

If you've already entered a 5K, 10K, half marathon, marathon, sponsored walk or another organised event, you can choose to use it to raise money for HRE4U.

You normally arrange and pay for your own event place directly with the organiser. We'll help you get your HRE4U fundraising set up so you can concentrate on the challenge.
